VIRTUAL WALK | What’s Left of Tudor London? | Katie Wignall

When you think of Tudor London, perhaps the most iconic building is the red brick Royal palace of Hampton Court. But in central London - all hiding in plain sight - there are still a remarkable number of impressive buildings, homes, statues and churches to be found.

Continuing her series of historic virtual tours for ARTscapades, Blue Badge Tourist Guide Katie Wignall reveals what's left of central London from Tudor times, using high definition video, images and live commentary. From the majesty of St James's Palace and the Henry VII Chapel in Westminster, to the houses that survived the Great Fire of London, what do these buildings tell us about this period of the city's story and the lives of Tudor Londoners?

Proceeds from ARTscapades ticket sales benefit museums, galleries and other arts-based organisations and projects.
